Accessing Shelter
Check-in occurs at the Cornerstone entrance doors on Princess Street at 9:00PM.
Community members who have stayed the previous night can reclaim their bed first at 9:00PM. Any unclaimed beds are the available to those with shelter tickets. If available, empty beds can be claimed until midnight. If you leave before midnight, your bed will not be saved.
Shelter tickets are available at Reception each day beginning at 5:00PM. A shelter ticket does not guarantee a bed, however it does save a place in line. Any empty beds are given to community members with tickets immediately after last night’s community members have checked in. After tickets have been distributed, if the shelter isn’t full, intake continues first-come, first-served from reception.
Note: The only information required for shelter is your name and date of birth. Your privacy is important to us, and UGM follows all laws regarding your privacy and when your consent is required for disclosure.
