In need of a safe place to sleep? At our shelter, you’ll find rest for the evening, and resources to help you take your next step toward health.
Once you're settled in, you can meet with an experienced Case Manager and receive personalized 1-on-1 care. Collaborating with a Case Manager can give you the vital support you need to climb out of survival mode, move forward, and grow.
Outreach Workers, Case Managers, and Counsellors are also available to help support your recovery goals.

Shelter Process
You can pick up a numbered ticket at UGM’s Reception at 5pm.
Tickets do not guarantee you a shelter bed, but will hold your place in the sequence as we fill open beds on a first come, first serve basis.
After receiving a ticket, please return to UGM’s Cornerstone entrance at 8:30pm.
We have nightly storage available for personal items.
Yes, you will have access to showers and our staff provide limited laundry services.

The Shelter and Street Help Line – 2-1-1
The Shelter and Street Help Line assists people who are affected by homelessness in the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley regional districts, as well as in Greater Victoria. As a wide range of circumstances can result in homelessness, BC-211 provides information on a variety of programs and services.
The Shelter List details available shelter beds and mats for women, men, youth and families. The list is updated twice a day at 11:30 am and 7:30 pm.
