Our Community Members: Programs, Services, and Photos

We have utmost respect for the privacy and confidentiality of those who use our services. When you use our programs or services, all efforts will be made to ensure your privacy.

No current recovery program participants are featured in UGM stories, materials or publications until they’ve been out of UGM’s care for at least one year. All community members featured in UGM’s photos, stories or other materials have given their express permission through a signed release for UGM to share their likeness and story. This permission can be withdrawn at any time.

At UGM, we are committed to ensuring that we amplify and post stories that are dignifying and respectful — both to the greater community as a whole, and the individuals to whom they belong. To carry out our commitment, we have developed an Informed Consent Policy to ensure our community members are honoured in every step of the story-telling process.
