Previously the Chief Operating Officer for The Salvation Army BC Division, together with past executive leadership roles, Bill was drawn to UGM to help change lives and “be a part of what God is doing in our community”.
His favourite part of serving at UGM is seeing faith in action. “I love planning and inventing new solutions to challenging problems and emerging opportunities.” Bill brings valuable leadership skills and purposeful perspective to UGM.
Bill has been Senior Pastor of two churches in B.C., and is decorated with the Canadian Medal of Bravery (1987). Beyond being thankful for his wife Karen, three grown children and daughter-in-law, he is loving the new experience of being a grandfather to Elias. He also enjoys walks on the beach, resting in God’s presence, talks and games with family and friends, watching sports, a round of golf, and European chocolate.
