Our programs are designed to nourish kids of all ages to learn and develop positive skills for their future — all while supported by caring Outreach Workers who strive to build meaningful relationships.
LEAD
Teens | Ages 13–17
Lead is for youth who want to develop their leadership skills, so they can make a positive impact in their homes, in our communities, and in the world.
The program includes workshops, and a variety of volunteer opportunities for your youth to practice their new skills, like working with children, public speaking, and leading activities.
Throughout Lead, have the ongoing support of a UGM Youth Outreach Worker, through 1-on-1 time. Here, they’ll receive feedback, mentorship, and be inspired toward growth.
The Space
Teens | Ages 13–17
Every week, teens gather for an action-packed activity night.
The evenings start with a community kitchen, where they prepare and share a nourishing meal together. From there, the excitement continues, with city outings like rock climbing, laser tagging, and pottery, and opportunities to serve the Downtown Eastside community.
Ultimately, The Space gives teenagers positive role models and a safe space to hang out, which will help mature them into compassionate, resilient individuals.
