Recovery Members to Receive Additional Counselling From New Partnership
UGM & No Fear Counselling Collaboration Empowers Individuals on a Journey to Transformation
(Vancouver, B.C) – Union Gospel Mission (UGM) is partnering with No Fear Counselling (NFC), providing additional counselling services to men and women in UGM’s second stage of recovery.
“This is a very important partnership as we recognize the importance of continued counselling resources for individuals through their journeys,” says UGM’s President Dean Kurpjuweit.
Combining UGM’s dedication to serving the community and NFC’s expertise in mental health care, both parties are committed to creating safe & compassionate spaces where people can continue to find direction, healing, and belief in their own potential for transformation, once they’ve completed their initial recovery programs.
"The collaboration between No Fear Counselling and UGM is a powerful combination that aligns our shared commitment to improving the well-being of individuals facing adversity,” says Harry Parmar, a No Fear Counselling Partner. “Together, we aim to break down the barriers that often prevent vulnerable populations from accessing the mental health care they deserve.”
UGM and No Fear Counselling’s partnership aims to break down the barriers that often block vulnerable community members from accessing deserved mental support. Whether homelessness, addiction, or any crisis, the two organizations are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can find solace, healing, and the tools to rebuild their lives.
