The Doors of UGM Open to Create Space for Renewal and Celebration
People experiencing homelessness and poverty in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES) had the opportunity to come together in community and celebration this past weekend on Saturday, March 30th, at Union Gospel Mission (UGM).
Thanks to our generous donor family and volunteers, we were able to serve over 1900 meals and demonstrate Christ's love to people in need of hope this Easter. More importantly, we had the opportunity for connection with our community members.
In a time where community and togetherness hold more meaning than ever, we welcomed members of our community for a gathering of love, hope and nourishment.
